Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

We build digital systems for organisations in regulated sectors, so accessibility is part of how we work rather than a step at the end. We hold this site to the same standard we would apply to a client's, and we treat any barrier reported here as a defect.

Conformance status

This site aims to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Based on our own testing, we believe it currently meets that standard.

We describe this as a self-assessment, not a certification. It reflects automated testing plus manual checks, and it has not been audited by an independent third party. We would rather state that plainly than imply more assurance than we have.

How we test

• Automated audits. Every page is checked with Google Lighthouse and its underlying axe accessibility rules. All pages currently pass with no reported violations.
• Keyboard only. Pages are navigated without a mouse to confirm every control can be reached and operated, and that focus is always visible.
• Structure and semantics. We check heading order, landmark regions, form labelling, and that content is exposed correctly to assistive technology rather than conveyed by appearance alone.
• Contrast. Text colours are measured against their actual background and held to at least the 4.5:1 ratio WCAG requires for body text.
• Responsive and zoom. Layouts are checked from 320px up to large desktop widths so content reflows without horizontal scrolling or overlap.
• Reduced motion. Animation is disabled for visitors whose system is set to prefer reduced motion.

Known limitations

We are not aware of outstanding barriers on this site. Two things are worth stating honestly rather than leaving unsaid:

• Testing has been carried out primarily with automated tooling and keyboard navigation. We have not completed a full screen-reader pass across every assistive technology and browser combination.
• Some links appear inline within a sentence and are therefore smaller than the 24 by 24 pixel target size. This is permitted under WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.5.8, which exempts targets positioned within a line of text.

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. A description of the page and what went wrong is enough - you do not need to know the technical cause.
